Once upon a time there was an important building dating back to 1600 which, in its history, among the various changes of ownership, also includes a count, named Rivola, belonging to a prominent family that held important positions in the civic life of Bergamo at the time. Over the centuries, various noble families and therefore different owners have succeeded, confirming, as can be seen from the comparison of cadastral maps, that the building has not undergone any changes in its layout from the second half of the 18th century to the first half of the 19th century. This, in short, is what various historical documents tell us, while what we see in these images is what the recent renovation has given us, marking a new chapter in the history of this ancient building. The interior design project, signed by Ostiliomobili's team, shows us a new chapter that has completely transformed its style, confirming a concept of absolute modernity, both in the choice of furniture and in the coverings that identify the various areas with decisiveness and a touch of creativity.

The new owner, thanks to the team of experts, has thus ensured an environment in perfect harmony wi

The Statuario Black marble, with its dark tones, dressing the entire living area and the oak parquet laid out in a geometric pattern that softens the sleeping area with its velvety notes are a clear example of this. Both serve as a backdrop to the modern and essential furniture that, starting from the open space living room, elegantly defines each area. The entrance opens onto the living room with a double-seater sofa and chaise lounge, overlooking the TV unit complete with open bookshelves, storage units, and integrated lights. Next to it is the dining area, defined by the elegant lines of the oval table with a marble top and matching armchairs.

The continuity of the materials creates a unique effect.

Always in view but with a completely dedicated area, the kitchen with peninsula that seems to come out directly from the floor, thanks to the use of the same material that contrasts pleasantly with the lacquered brass-effect columns.

Another chromatic contrast lies in the dark notes of the marble and the whitened beams of the ceili

A splash of color that doesn't go unnoticed comes from the owner's racing motorbike, which he keeps as a jewel on display and under protection. A touch of charm, instead, comes from the suspended lights that elegantly highlight the different areas with luminous grace.

Moving on to the world of night, the colors become more delicate and soft.

A parquet floor muffles the master bedroom, where a modern oval bathtub has also been placed to complete the refined decor, enhanced by specially designed light points to create different atmospheres. In the master bathroom, marble is used again, both as a covering and in the suspended cabinet which, with its infinite veins, personalizes the environment. Everywhere, balance and proportion have been studied to give beauty and well-being, confirming the happy ending of this modern story where the play of contrasts is indeed the beauty of the weave.
